It is George’s work ethic while on the training floor and his consistent effort all summer long which have earned him the recognition of Total Hockey Player of the Month. George has regularly been participating in the Flex Training Program at Total Hockey South Metro since early Spring and his efforts are truly beginning to pay of for him. He is a stronger skater, a better shooter, and a more confident puck handler than he was three months ago. George came to Total Hockey with the intent to spend the summer preparing for his next season of hockey and this is what he had to say about his experience this summer:
"Total Hockey has been a lot of fun. The reason I signed up for Total Hockey is I wanted to work on my shooting, quickness, vision, and stick handling. I have improved in all those areas. The people that work at Total Hockey are fun. I like the instructors; they push you to do your best. They also give you individual attention to explain how to improve. I'm excited for tryouts to start so I can really see how I have improved."
With only a few weeks left before the tryouts begin, we expect to continue to see George a few times a week so he can get the most out of his off-season and go into try-outs an even better player than he is today.
